Entrepreneur, Activist, and Philanthropist Brooke Sinclair is the author of "The Top 25 VCs Least Likely to Invest in Founders of Color".  A serial entrepreneur, she is no stranger to overcoming challenges.  A Chicago native living in Houston, Brooke serves on the Board for Cornerstone Family Resource Center in addition to SheTransacts’ Advisory Board.

Transportation, distribution, and supply chain management expert turned founder.  Before the Import/Export industry, Brooke worked as a Retail Donation Manager for Houston Food Bank.  She managed three remote distribution programs worth $9M and increased monetary values to over $15M within two years.

Brooke holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Project Management from Walden University, a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational & Corporate Communications from University of Houston, and certification in Finance from Rice University.

Brooke’s areas of expertise include global supply chain, uplifting Blacks in STEM, and supply chain logistics. She is passionate about increasing access to STEM for underrepresented youth as they travel through the high school to tech startup pipeline. Her extensive background in nonprofits includes volunteer recruitment for national food drives, volunteering for the Special Olympics, and producing live theatre performances for children's shows.

Her career in the United States, where she relocated in 2006, takes advantage of her dual culture and offers her services to start-ups, SMEs, and non-profit organizations both in France and the United States.

Maryse began her career at Sanofi Pharma International before moving to the High-Tech industry. Hired by Apple Computer, she was quickly appointed PR Manager and successfully launched the first products dedicated to the consumer market while dealing with corporate matters. HP France then hired Maryse to reorganize the PR department before being appointed Communications Manager for the French market and then European Brand Manager in charge of streamlining brand activity throughout 15 countries. Among her achievements, the Cannes film Festival partnership for HP, and a range of awards honoring the HP rebranding.
